// Frequently asked

What is Freqly?

An iOS app that searches and plays thousands of internet radio stations via the public radio-browser.info directory — with favorites, Lock Screen controls and CarPlay.

Where do the stations come from?

From the free, community-run radio-browser.info database. Freqly runs no stations and hosts no streams itself — it finds the stations and plays their public streams.

A station won't load or keeps dropping — what now?

Radio streams are run by the stations themselves and are occasionally offline, moved or overloaded. Try again later or pick another station. Also check your internet connection.

How do I save favorites?

Tap the favorite icon on a station. Favorites are stored locally on the device and show up automatically in your CarPlay list.

How does CarPlay work?

Freqly shows your favorites as a list on the CarPlay screen. A tap starts playback and opens the Now Playing screen. Station artwork is loaded on the fly; if a station has none, a fallback cover is shown.

Where is my data stored?

Favorites and settings stay locally on the device. No accounts, no tracking. Details in the privacy policy.

I paid by mistake — what now?

Refunds go through Apple. Open reportaproblem.apple.com and report the purchase. As the developer we cannot refund Apple payments directly.
